About Us

- Erik and I met at West Virginia University our senior year in 2002. We were married the next year in November of 2003. After college we moved to Northern Virginia. Erik started his own company Outdoor Spaces LLC in August 2009. Outdoor Spaces is a residential design build firm, in Leesburg. In December of 2004, I started working for a non-profit group in Fairfax. So far, I am really enjoying what I do. In August of 2009 we welcomed our first child, a son, Parker Brooks Moden. Though he was born 4 months early he is perfect. We all live in a cute townhouse in Hamilton, with our two dogs, Smokey and Dusty, and our two cats, Shadow and Ghost. We have been there since August of 2004 and love the small town atmosphere nestled right outside the nation’s capitol. We started attending Leesburg Community Church in April of 2007 and knew it was home the first day we arrived. We finally feel like we have a deep connection to God and our community.
